The CARDBUSK2K provides a compact and cost-effective 32-bit CardBus Controller ideally suited
to interfacing a wide range of high performance miniature peripherals to the PC/104+ bus. Compliance
with CardBus, PCMCIA 2.1/JEIDA 4.2 and availability of full suite of PCMCIA support software
ensures that the CARDBUS2K is able to support the widest range of cards under DOS, Windows,
Linux and a number of RTOS. The CARDBUS2K features 2 32-bit Cardbus sockets and
interfaces to the host PC/104+ computer over the high speed 32-bit PC/104+ bus. The Sockets
provide a full 32-bit high speed interface to the PCI (PC/104+) bus and support Types I, II, III cards
such as Fax/Modem, ISDN, GSM, GPRS, 802.11G WirelessLAN, BlueTooth, etc cards.
As part of our Long term availability promise this product has now been moved to our Legacy line. AMP Legacy products have guaranteed long term availability to existing customers but are no longer recommended for new projects.
