The Tiny586SR2 is a member of the AMP Tiny486/586DX series of high performance and cost
effective PC/104 computer cards. The Tiny586SR2 features a 5x86 (or 486DX) processor with up to
36MBytes of DRAM and up to 16MBytes FlashDisk in a compact PC/104 form factor.
The Tiny586SR2 offers unparalleled cost/performance by integrating all the functions of a PC-AT
motherboard plus serial, parallel, keyboard, mouse and Floppy disk controller functions on the board.
An optional FlashDisk which supports most RTOS provides up to 16Mbytes non-volatile storage for
the most demanding operational environment. The stackable PC/104 bus enables additional PC/104
modules to be added to the Tiny586SR2 computer.
As part of our Long term availability promise this product has now been moved to our Legacy line. AMP Legacy products have guaranteed long term availability to existing customers but are no longer recommended for new projects.
